The theme Scripture should be recited often by children, and they should be encouraged to memorize the Scripture passage.
Theme Verse: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved [have Eternal- LIFE]” (Romans 10:13).
Below is an acrostic the E-LIFE Kids should memorize and can use when witnessing to another child—in this context referred to as sharing “The Story.” Help the E-LIFE Kids memorize the Scripture verses and rehearse the E-LIFE Plan application often so they can share the plan of salvation with other children.
E—Eternal life given through Jesus
(Gold stands for heaven, our eternal reward)
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life [E-life].”
L—Life eternal is a gift from God (Green stands for life)
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life [E-LIFE].
I—If we confess, He will forgive (Blue stands for royalty, which is Jesus in us)
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us.
F—Forgiveness is free (Red stands for Jesus’ blood, shed to forgive our sins)
Acts 10:43 “Everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness.”
E – Everyone can join God’s family
(Gold stands for heaven, our eternal reward)
